The meeting started with welcoming words from Peter Boglarka(Project Manager, PRO EDU) who also introduced the agenda of the meeting.
Then the meeting continued with a general presentation of Ruritage focusing on the following major subjects: how the project started, the role of CNH, the methodology,main purpose and benefits of the project, the SIA’s and cross-cutting themes, why we are involving local stakeholders and their role in the project etc. The presentation was held by Nagy-Ugrai Orsolya (Project Manager, PRO EDU).
On behalf of Hargita County Council (HCC) Imre Krisztina presented our involvement as a Role Model in the project, representing the Via Mariae pilgrimage route, focusing on our good practices, the role of our Local Heritage Hub, other SIA’ that could be of our interest, the planned activities, but also on what has already happened in the project so far and what will happen in the near future.
Molnar Sandor from the Via Mariae Association took the floor next, presenting briefly how the pilgrimage route has evolved during the last couple of years, what new steps will be taken in the near future and how RURITAGE can contribute to the development of Via Mariae and to the enhacement of CNH in our region.
