A network, an alliance, but even the smallest partnership, no matter how professional the collaboration is, it is held together by the individual people's devotion to each other. We celebrated the good relations, the cooperations and the fruits of networking we had so far in the network of Pro Educatione on the 14th of November 2022 in Targu-Mures. Association Pro Educatione celebrated its tenth anniversary in 2021. Since the outbreak of the pandemic this meeting was the first meeting held face-to-face in person.
The program of the meeting consisted of a commemorative session and a joint learning session.
The operative team of the network held a presentation based on the results of a qualitative research done among network member organizations. We selected quotes from the interviews that can help and confirmation our shared past and help to move on into the future. The participants could take with them home to their organizations some “symbolic slices of cakes” with messages. We recalled the key events of the past ten years by projecting photos taken at network meetings, trainings and other events.
One topic that we agreed on to learn about in the future was the topic of anxiety (war anxiety, climate anxiety, existential anxiety, fear of economic crisis). In connection with this topic our invitee, psychologist István Cosma, held a lecture and a workshop session. We received specific knowledge and information about anxiety, and we were also made aware of the importance of self-care during various practical guides and exercises.
The meeting was hosted by the Caritas House in Targu-Mures. We are thankful for the staff of Caritas Alba Iulia for the comfortable location and care.
